Environmental flow is officially accredited to undertake MCERTS site inspections on behalf of the Environment Agency. It also provides flow measurement consultancy and inspections of flow measurement systems. The company is based in Gloucestershire and provides a range of flow-measurement services across the UK.
Our team is led by Senior MCERTS Site Inspector Jim Corris, a well-known and respected Water Engineer with over 25 years’ experience. He is an expert in flow-measurement and has extensive knowledge of effluent process. Jim has worked as an MCERTS Site inspector since 2005. Jim works alongside our Assistant and trainee MCERTS Inspectors.
The office is run by Lisa Chandler. She has worked in the industry for the last 6 years after a successful career in A Level teaching, training, and writing textbooks.
Environmental Flow has carried out MCERTS Site Inspections and flow-measurement consultancy for much of the UK water industry, as well as power, manufacturing, food, aggregate and waste industries. In addition, the company provides consultancy for smaller businesses such as fish farms, breweries and dairies.
All Environmental Flow staff are appropriately trained. Field Staff undertake regular training in confined space access, safe working at heights and health and safety in a construction environment. They hold Thames Water Safety Passports, current CSCS cards (Construction Site Operative Industry Accreditation) and National Water hygiene cards. Staff have been trained, accredited and actively work with a number of flow measurement providers on their equipment including Siemans, ABB, Katronics, Pulsar, Laser flow, Pannametrics.
