What is MCERTS?
The MCERTS scheme was launched in April 2003 to fulfil the Environment Agency’s obligation under the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive. This allows environmental measurements to be made in accordance with the Environment Agency’s quality requirements under the MCERTS framework.
Do I need MCERTS?
You will need MCERTS certification if your business discharges to water at a rate of above 50m3/day or if your consent to discharge has MCERTS compliance stated within the consent.
What do we offer?
We offer MCERTS Site Inspections for the self monitoring of flow.
Our experienced MCERTS Inspector, Jim Corris will organise the visit, carry out your MCERTS inspection and write the inspection report. Your MCERTS certificate will be issued through the CSA group. Environmental Flow Ltd are accredited by the Environment Agency (CSA Group) to assess consent holders environmental measurement arrangements under the Monitoring CERTification Scheme (MCERTS).
